Satpol PP Awasi 300 Tempat Usaha Selama Ramadan, Dua Langgar Aturan

Satpol PP: Compliance Level Increases as Supervision Run to 300 Businesses During Ramadan

Jakarta Provincial Government Satpol PP has been supervising 300 entertainment and recreation businesses since early Ramadan up to March 9, 2025.

We will take action according to the applicable procedures

During the supervision, two entertainment venues were found to have violated the regulation of Ramadan month. Those two entertainment venues are a billiard venue in Cakung, East Jakarta, and a bar in Menteng, Central Jakarta.

Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Satriadi Gunawan said those two venues violated a regulation contained in the Announcement of Jakarta Tourism Agency Head Number e-0001/2025 about The Operation of Tourism Businesses during Ramadan Month and Eid ul Fitr 2025.

"Administrative sanctions were given by summoning the two business managers for further coaching," said Satriadi, Monday (3/10).

Satriadi added that small number of violations compared to the total of 300 businesses being monitored showed that the business compliance level with Ramadan regulations in Jakarta was better.

"It reflects higher awareness among business owners to adjust their operations to the regulations during Ramadan month," he added.

In fact, Satriadi admitted, his party will continue to supervise in ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. According to him, the supervision is carried out to maintain public order and respect the fasting people.

"Jakarta Satpol PP will supervise until the end of Ramadan to ensure there is no violation. We remind business actors to comply with the regulations. We will take action according to the applicable procedures if violations are found," he stated.
